Cédric Vongerichten is the executive chef and co-owner of Wayan, a modern Indonesian restaurant with French influence in New York City, named one of Esquire’s 2019 Best New Restaurants in America. Originally born in Bangkok, Thailand, Cédric spent the early years of his career learning in celebrated kitchens around the world before making his way back to New York to join the team at the renowned Perry St in Manhattan's West Village, where he currently serves as chef de cuisine overseeing the restaurant's culinary vision. Beyond owning and operating Wayan alongside his wife Ochi, the duo opened their first independent ventures, Vong Kitchen and Le Burger, in Jakarta, Indonesia -- Ochi's birthplace -- in 2018 ahead of Wayan's successful debut the following year.
Jim Meehan worked at some of New York City’s most revered restaurants and bars including Gramercy Tavern and the Pegu Club before opening the James Beard Award-winning bar PDT in 2007 and a second branch in Hong Kong a decade later. A journalist and former editor of Food & Wine Cocktails and Mr. Boston Official Bartender’s Guide; Jim’s own books, The PDT Cocktail Book and Meehan’s Bartender Manual, have become industry favorites worldwide. He and his family currently reside in Portland, Oregon where he oversees his consulting firm Mixography Inc.
Anthony Giglio is one of the most entertaining wine and spirits authorities on the planet. He has written several books, including three editions of FOOD & WINE’s Wine Guide; five editions of the Mr. Boston Official Bartender’s Guide, and his highly regarded first book, Cocktails in New York. Giglio has written for numerous publications, including FOOD & WINE and Travel + Leisure. Giglio is currently a wine reporter for CBS News Radio, and has appeared on numerous television programs.
